Finance Manager (Part‑time, Hybrid)

About the role

The charity is seeking a qualified Finance Manager to lead its finance function on a part‑time, hybrid basis. This strategic yet hands‑on position will shape financial strategy, support growth and provide insight to the Executive Team and Board of Trustees.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute financial strategy, planning and forecasting.
• Produce management accounts, budgets and regular financial reports.
• Partner with senior stakeholders on business planning and growth initiatives.
• Oversee audits, compliance, governance and risk management.
• Manage and develop a small finance team.
• Drive continuous improvement of financial systems and processes.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
• Proven experience in a Finance Manager or senior finance leadership role.
• Strong background in budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling.
• Experience presenting financial information to Boards, Trustees or senior leadership.
• Previous experience in the charity, not‑for‑profit, social‑enterprise or healthcare sectors is essential.
• Knowledge of Charity SORP, charity accounting requirements and governance frameworks.
