Treasury Team Lead

About the role

The Treasury Team Lead manages day‑to‑day Treasury operations and leads a team to ensure effective cash management, liquidity planning, bank funding, settlements, FX support and operational controls. The role guarantees that Treasury activities are accurate, meet cut‑off times and comply with policies and limits.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and develop the Treasury Operations team.
• Monitor daily cash balances, liquidity positions and funding requirements, ensuring timely bank account funding.
• Plan funding for weekends, public holidays and high‑volume periods.
• Oversee local and international settlements, reviewing pending transactions, failed payments and exceptions.
• Ensure accurate reconciliations and resolve outstanding breaks promptly.
• Monitor Treasury limits, counter‑party exposure and operational risk indicators, escalating material issues.
• Support FX exposure monitoring and ensure FX deals are processed within cut‑off times.
• Maintain incident logs, coordinate with banks and internal stakeholders, and support policy and system improvements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration or related field.
• 4‑6 years of experience in Treasury Operations, Banking Operations, Cash Management or Financial Services.
• Experience with cash‑flow forecasting, bank funding, settlements, reconciliations and FX operations.
• Strong knowledge of Treasury controls, maker‑checker processes and operational risk management.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Treasury Management Systems.
• Familiarity with bank portals and financial reporting tools.
