Financial Accountant

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Financial Accountant to join the Shared Service Centre of a fast‑growing company in the City of London. The role will own the full financial accounting cycle for the US legal entity, ensuring accurate reporting under US GAAP and Swiss GAAP FER while supporting group consolidation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and execute month‑end close activities.
• Process accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll.
• Manage fixed assets, intercompany transactions and tax accounting.
• Prepare statutory and external reports for US GAAP compliance.
• Support group reporting, consolidation and management reporting.
• Ensure internal controls and compliance with accounting standards.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years recent experience in financial accounting.
• Experience handling US entities and US GAAP reporting.
• Strong knowledge of statutory reporting and tax compliance.

Required skills

• SAP FI/CO (journal entry posting, asset accounting, period‑end close).
• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Power BI.
• US GAAP.
• Swiss GAAP FER.
