Financial Analyst – Google Play EMEA

About the role

Google Play is looking for a Financial Analyst to support its EMEA business. You will help shape financial decisions by building models, analysing revenue trends and automating dashboards that drive strategic insight across the digital marketplace.

Key responsibilities

• Provide the data backbone for the EMEA Play monthly business review, creating presentations and dashboards that surface market trends.
• Support complex financial forecasting initiatives, including developer revenue target setting and large‑scale data alignment.
• Execute trend analysis, headcount reconciliation and variance tracking to ensure accurate reporting.
• Develop and maintain automated reporting solutions and dashboards for business partners.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics or a related quantitative field, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, consulting or a similar function.
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction and analysis.
• Advanced spreadsheet modeling skills and the ability to turn data into actionable insights.
