Financial Controller – International FMCG Brand

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Financial Controller to lead the finance function for an international FMCG manufacturing business. You will own all accounting operations, produce accurate financial statements and management reports, and provide insight that drives strategic decisions at executive level.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll and month‑end / year‑end close processes.
• Prepare and present timely financial statements, management reports and key performance indicators to the executive team.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory and internal reporting requirements.
• Analyse financial data to support commercial decision‑making and monitor cash flow, working capital and financial risk.
• Manage, mentor and develop the accounting and finance team.
• Identify and implement process improvements and best practices in financial management.
• Support external audits, tax filings and other financial requirements.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or international equivalent).
• Background in consumer‑goods manufacturing or FMCG.
• Strong technical accounting, controls and audit‑facing experience.
• Proven leadership of AP/AR functions, working‑capital management and credit control.
