Financial Planner

About the role

Join a small, independent Chartered IFA firm that puts the client first. You will provide comprehensive financial planning advice across pensions, investments, protection and broader wealth management, building long‑term relationships rather than chasing short‑term targets.

Key responsibilities

• Handle new enquiries generated from seminars, events, introductions and referrals.
• Collaborate with the wider team to convert event attendees and enquiries into advice opportunities.
• Take on selected existing client cases where capacity is needed.
• Deliver broad financial planning services covering pensions, investments, protection and wider planning work.
• Work with paraplanning, administration, operations, client relationship management and marketing support, with additional resources added as activity grows.

Required profile

• Qualified Financial Planner, Chartered or willing to become Chartered.
• Strong ability to build trust with clients and professional introducers.
• Enjoys relationship building and following up warm opportunities.
• Does not need to bring an existing client book.

Required skills

What we offer

• Salary up to £70,000 plus £6,000 car allowance.
• Annual salary review linked to revenue and contribution.
• December bonus of approximately £5,000‑£6,000.
• Pension, income protection, critical illness cover and death in service.
• 26 days holiday plus bank holidays, with option to purchase up to 10 extra days.
