Financing Trader – EMEA Markets

About the role

We are looking for an EMEA Financing Trader to manage financing activity across our global investment platform, focusing on government bonds and credit repo. The trader will work closely with portfolio managers and trading teams in Boston, London and Hong Kong, executing and optimizing financing transactions.

Key responsibilities

• Execute repo, reverse‑repo and other secured financing transactions while adhering to best‑execution and risk‑management standards.
• Develop deep knowledge of financing curves, collateral dynamics and dealer balance‑sheet capacity to improve financing outcomes.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, counterparties and internal investment teams, proactively sourcing financing capacity and identifying specials.
• Monitor and manage liquidity, collateral, counter‑party and operational risks associated with financing markets.
• Leverage technology and data, including electronic repo platforms and automation tools, to enhance execution quality and efficiency.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in repo or secured‑financing trading/sales within G10 markets.
• Strong analytical abilities and understanding of the interaction between cash securities and financing markets.
• Proactive, self‑starting attitude with a focus on improving processes and investment outcomes.
• High integrity, fiduciary mindset and meticulous attention to risk and operational controls.
