Fire & Security Engineer – Birmingham

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Fire & Security Engineer to join a growing team serving the West Midlands and surrounding areas. This full‑time, permanent position involves travelling to multiple client sites to install, service and maintain a variety of security systems.

Key responsibilities

• Install, service, repair, fault‑find and maintain fire alarm, intruder alarm, CCTV and access control systems.
• Cover a range of manufacturers and ensure work meets quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with customers, providing clear updates and advice.
• Complete tasks efficiently while supporting fellow team members as needed.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence (essential).
• Minimum three years’ experience in the fire and security sector.
• Enthusiastic, self‑motivated and able to seize opportunities.
• Willingness to train across single or multiple disciplines.
• Desirable qualifications: IPAF, CSCS/ECS, FIA, City & Guilds.
