First Officer – Commercial Pilot

About the role

Etihad Airways is seeking a qualified First Officer to join its growing fleet of A320 aircraft. Based in Abu Dhabi, the successful candidate will operate international and regional flights, ensuring the highest standards of safety, efficiency and passenger service.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Captain in the safe operation of the aircraft from pre‑flight planning through to post‑flight shutdown.
• Conduct all required checks, briefings and communications in accordance with airline SOPs.
• Manage crew resource management and support decision‑making during all phases of flight.
• Maintain compliance with fuel‑efficiency and sustainability policies.
• Deliver on‑time performance and contribute to Etihad’s reliability targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 5,500 total flight hours, including at least 2,000 hours on type.
• Valid Airline Transport Pilot Licence (ATPL) with an A320 type rating.
• Strong command of English and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
• Commitment to safety, professionalism and continuous improvement.
