About the role

We are a London‑based chocolatier seeking an experienced freelance Digital PR specialist to boost our online visibility. The role focuses on securing high‑impact editorial coverage, media outreach, and strategic backlink acquisition across food, lifestyle, and luxury publications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a focused Digital PR strategy to increase brand visibility and online authority.
• Secure editorial placements in high‑value publications, such as "Top 10 London chocolates" lists, London food and lifestyle round‑ups, gift guides, and luxury consumer magazines.
• Identify and pitch relevant story angles to journalists, editors, and content teams.
• Build and maintain relationships with UK media contacts to generate consistent coverage opportunities.
• Earn high‑quality backlinks through editorial features and track their impact on search performance.
• Measure and report on coverage secured, demonstrating tangible results.

Required profile

• Proven experience delivering successful Digital PR campaigns for food, luxury, retail, or lifestyle brands.
• Track record of securing editorial coverage and inclusion in competitive "best of" lists.
• Existing relationships with relevant UK journalists, editors, and publications.
• Demonstrable ability to improve brand visibility through earned media and backlinks.
• Understanding of how editorial coverage influences online visibility and search performance.
• Ability to work independently and deliver results within a 3‑month timeframe.
