Freight Forwarding Consultant

About the role

We are looking for a Freight Forwarding Consultant to build and manage your own business unit within our global logistics consultancy. The position is 100% remote with the option to use our Manchester office, offering you full independence while benefiting from our 35‑year industry heritage.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new client relationships and expand the customer base across road, sea, air and rail freight services.
• Negotiate rates, prepare quotations and deliver end‑to‑end logistics solutions.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract closure.
• Maintain high service standards and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
• Grow and nurture an active portfolio of accounts with minimal supervision.

Required profile

• Previous experience working in the freight and logistics sector.
• Background in sales, account management or business development.
• Existing active customer base is highly beneficial.
• Self‑motivated and able to manage workload independently.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of freight forwarding processes and transport modes (road, sea, air, rail).
• Proven sales negotiation and account management abilities.
