Freight Operator – Multimodal (Air/Sea/Road)

About the role
We are partnering with an industry‑leading forwarder in Birmingham to recruit an experienced Freight Operator who will manage multimodal shipments across air, sea and road. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere while supporting key customers throughout the UK.
Key responsibilities
- Handle multimodal freight shipments from start to finish.
- Manage key customer accounts, ensuring bookings are complete and accurate.
- Provide regular updates to customers on shipment progress.
- Resolve customer queries promptly and professionally.
- Secure competitive rates and maximise profit on each job.
- Prepare and submit customs declarations for both import and export.
Required profile
- Proven experience with multimodal freight operations.
- Strong understanding of the end‑to‑end logistics process, including customs procedures.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.

- Salary range £30,000 – £36,000 per year plus bonuses.
