Procurement Operations Lead

About the role

Internationalschools is looking for an experienced Procurement Operations Lead to drive the evolution of its global procurement function. Reporting to the Head of Group Procurement, you will combine strategic vision with hands‑on delivery across a network of schools and regional hubs.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the global SME for procurement governance, SOPs and internal controls, monitoring compliance and performance.
• Lead cross‑functional projects to harmonise regional buying practices into a scalable global operating model.
• Embed ESG and responsible sourcing commitments, supporting Ecovadis accreditation and supplier risk management.
• Design and execute change‑management and communication strategies for new processes, policies and digital tools.
• Drive rollout, optimisation and adoption of procurement systems, partnering with Finance and IT to build a roadmap that includes AI‑enabled buying tools.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Procurement Excellence Manager, Operations Lead or Transformation Manager in a matrixed, international organisation.
• Track record of leading global change initiatives, process standardisation and digital tool implementations (e.g., S2P software).
• Strong project‑management capability with the ability to balance multiple global workstreams.
• Experience in ESG, sustainable sourcing and supplier risk management.
