Full Stack Engineer (Java/Kotlin/Python) – VP

About the role

Citi is looking for a Vice President‑level Full Stack Engineer to join the Strategic Equity Solutions team within Equities Technology. You will help build greenfield services that improve trader workflow tooling and contribute to a multi‑year transformation of the global equities platform.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and iteratively deliver high‑performance software solutions from concept to production.
• Own the end‑to‑end delivery pipeline, ensuring frequent releases that provide immediate business value.
• Collaborate closely with traders, product owners and other engineers to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Make autonomous technology decisions while working in an agile, self‑organising team.
• Contribute to the re‑engineering of Citi’s equities execution, clearing and margining infrastructure.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a senior developer, preferably at VP level or equivalent.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to engage directly with global users.
• Comfortable working in an agile environment with a focus on continuous delivery.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and a passion for building scalable, reliable systems.
