Funding Administrator

About the role

We are seeking a Funding Administrator to join a growing education organisation. The role is fully remote on a term‑time only basis and focuses on maintaining accurate student funding data, ensuring compliance, and supporting the end‑to‑end funding process.

Key responsibilities

• Process student applications and support learner onboarding.
• Maintain accurate student records and funding data.
• Check enrolment information and funding eligibility.
• Prepare and validate funding returns against national deadlines.
• Reconcile funding reports and investigate discrepancies.
• Process bursary and free school meal applications.
• Support funding audits and compliance activities.
• Produce reports and analyse data to improve quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with colleagues across the organisation to ensure smooth funding processes.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and pride in producing accurate work.
• Experience with large data sets or external data returns in the Further Education sector.
• Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.
• Excellent communication and a proactive, collaborative approach.

What we offer
