GCE A Level Physics Examiner (Full‑time, Remote)

About the role

Pearson is seeking qualified teachers to mark GCE A Level Physics (2016 specification) examinations. The role is fully remote, allowing you to work from home while contributing to nationally recognised qualifications.

Key responsibilities

• Mark candidates' responses using the ePEN digital platform or paper scripts, adhering to the official mark scheme.
• Maintain accuracy and consistency to uphold overall standards.
• Submit sample scripts to the Team Leader at designated times.
• Meet marking milestones and complete all required administrative tasks on schedule.

Required profile

• At least one academic year of recent teaching experience in Physics (within the last 8 years).
• Qualified teacher status with a degree or equivalent.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the ePEN digital marking platform.
• High level of subject knowledge in Physics to apply the mark scheme correctly.
