General Assistant – Cinema Guest Services

About the role

Join the Showcase cinema team as a General Assistant and help deliver an exceptional guest experience. You will be the friendly face that welcomes visitors, assists with ticketing and refreshments, and ensures the cinema environment is clean and inviting.

Key responsibilities

• Provide courteous, helpful customer service to all cinema visitors.
• Manage ticket and refreshment counters, handling sales and queries.
• Maintain cleanliness and tidiness of auditoria, lobby, and facilities.
• Answer guest questions about current film releases and cinema offerings.
• Support sales initiatives and promote concessions.

Required profile

• Passionate about cinema and delivering first‑class service.
• Positive, can‑do attitude with ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and late‑night shifts.
• Willingness to work across all cinema departments.
