General Assistant Operator – Food Production

About the role

We are seeking a General Assistant Operator to support our food production line. The role focuses on maintaining product quality and safety while handling raw materials and ensuring smooth operation of manufacturing equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Measure and classify all raw materials in preparation for production.
• Measure, decant, mix, batch and cook ingredients according to process sheet requirements.
• Control temperature and automated processes for product manufacturing.
• Monitor food safety and quality, recording results on the Master Process Sheet.
• Fill, cook and label finished goods for shipment.
• Clean machinery and production areas, maintaining hygienic standards.
• Report machine faults to supervision or maintenance as required.
• Comply with Golden Rules, KHMS and all third‑party requirements.
• Report concerns related to product safety, authenticity, legality and quality.
• Identify and report defects, proactively seek OEE improvements.
• Complete effective shift handovers and solve ad‑hoc line problems.
• Work within the KHMS operating model.

Required profile

• Prior manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to multitask in a busy production environment.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Proactive problem‑solving and continuous‑improvement mindset.
• FLT licence preferred.
