General Engineering Lecturer

About the role

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Engineering Lecturer to join our college faculty. You will deliver high‑quality engineering education across a variety of teaching formats and support student success throughout their studies.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver classroom, tutorial, outreach and placement teaching in engineering subjects.
• Plan, prepare, assess and provide constructive feedback to students.
• Act as a Personal Tutor, offering pastoral and academic support.
• Coordinate work placements, maintain accurate student records and monitor progress.
• Lead course design, delivery, assessment planning and quality assurance where applicable.
• Contribute to curriculum development, quality improvement and self‑assessment activities.
• Engage with employers, schools and recruitment events to promote the college.
• Uphold health and safety policies and promote equality of opportunity.
