About the role
We are seeking a dynamic General Manager to lead the day‑to‑day operations of our fitness club. You will set the pace for sales, service and operational excellence, ensuring every member enjoys an exceptional experience.
Key responsibilities
- Recruit, train and develop a high‑performing team, providing regular feedback to maximise performance.
- Own membership growth, secondary spend and all revenue streams to drive profitability.
- Lead by example on the gym floor and reception, delivering a personalised, elevated member experience.
- Maintain operational processes to the highest standards on a daily, weekly and monthly basis.
- Uphold cleanliness, presentation and safety standards at all times.
- Promote national campaigns and engage the team in brand initiatives.
- Resolve challenges with resilience, agility and a solutions‑focused mindset.
- Oversee compliance with health & safety policies and pool plant operations.
Required profile
- Passion for health, fitness and wellness.
- Minimum one year of management experience in the fitness industry.
- Strong leadership with adaptable communication and management style.
- Member‑first mindset and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Commercial awareness and drive to deliver results.
- Positive, resilient and fearless approach to problem‑solving.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays as needed.
