General Practitioner – 4-6 Sessions per Week in Coastal Scotland

About the role

Eyemouth Medical Practice is seeking a dedicated General Practitioner to join a supportive, multidisciplinary team in the coastal town of Eyemouth. The role offers 4‑6 sessions per week with a mix of clinical and administrative duties, operating under a BMA model contract.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver 15‑minute patient appointments, providing high‑quality, patient‑centred care.
• Participate in shared visit and on‑call duties as part of the practice rota.
• Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings and collaborative care planning.
• Maintain accurate clinical records using practice IT systems.
• Engage in continuous professional development and optional special‑interest work.

Required profile

• GMC‑registered GP with strong communication and clinical abilities.
• Team‑player who values a supportive, inclusive workplace.

• Willingness to start in early 2026, with flexibility for the right candidate.

Required skills

• Proficiency with EMIS PCS clinical software.
• Experience using docman document management system.
