Geographic Information System Analyst

About the role

Hyde Group is seeking a Geographic Information System Analyst to join its collaborative team in London. You will develop, maintain and apply spatial data and analytical solutions that support decision‑making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality spatial analysis and geographic insight for business planning and operational activity.
• Analyse geographic patterns such as service demand, deprivation, stock performance and risk.
• Develop, maintain and enhance spatial datasets, mapping layers, GIS models, dashboards and reporting outputs.
• Use tools like ArcGIS, Power BI, SQL and related platforms to extract, manipulate, analyse and visualise data.
• Build strong stakeholder relationships and translate technical concepts into clear recommendations for non‑technical audiences.

Required profile

• Proven experience in GIS, geospatial or spatial analysis roles.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Proactive mindset with a passion for location‑based intelligence.
