Geospatial Surveyor

About the role

Join Tetra Tech’s Geospatial team to deliver complex, high‑impact surveying projects across the UK. You will combine field‑based data capture with office‑based analysis to support infrastructure, water, defence, nuclear and other critical sectors.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver geospatial surveying projects from planning through to final delivery.
• Conduct topographical, setting‑out, measured building, levelling and laser‑scanning surveys.
• Capture, process and interpret survey data using industry‑leading technologies.
• Produce accurate outputs with AutoCAD, Leica Infinity and related software tools.
• Operate Total Station and GNSS equipment confidently across varied environments.
• Build strong relationships with clients and multidisciplinary project teams.
• Balance site‑based and office‑based tasks while managing competing priorities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in topographical surveying and use of survey software.
• Hands‑on competence with GNSS/Total Station equipment.
• Strong communication and client‑facing abilities.
• Experience with laser scanning, levelling, measured building surveys or terrain modelling is advantageous.
• Relevant technical qualification and a full UK driving licence.
