About the role
An exciting opportunity exists for a Geotechnical Design Engineer to join a specialist engineering consultancy in Manchester. The role involves producing permanent and temporary geotechnical designs, supporting ground investigations, and delivering foundation, retaining wall, earthworks and slope‑stability solutions on multidisciplinary infrastructure projects.
Key responsibilities
- Produce permanent and temporary geotechnical designs.
- Support ground investigations and geotechnical assessments.
- Design foundations, retaining walls, earthworks and slope‑stability solutions.
- Work on multidisciplinary infrastructure projects and conduct site visits.
Required profile
- MEng or MSc in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering.
- Post‑graduate experience in geotechnical engineering or tunnelling.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Full right to work in the UK.
- Residence within reasonable commuting distance of Manchester.
