Graduate Bid Writer – Construction Sector

About the role

We are seeking a Graduate Bid Writer to join a growing construction team. This role offers recent graduates with a background in journalism, English, editorial or marketing the chance to develop commercial writing skills in a fast‑paced tender environment.

Key responsibilities

• Support the creation of Pre‑Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) and Invitation to Tender (ITTs) submissions.
• Write clear, engaging and client‑focused responses to tender questions.
• Review tender documents to extract key technical information.
• Collaborate with internal teams such as estimating and operations to gather content.
• Edit and proof submissions to ensure consistency and quality.
• Maintain bid content libraries, CVs and case studies.
• Assist with marketing collateral including LinkedIn posts, website updates and brochures.

Required profile

• Recent graduate in Journalism, English, Editorial, Marketing or a related field.
• Excellent written communication with strong attention to detail.
• Highly organised and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Confident when communicating with a range of stakeholders.
• Eager to learn and build a career in bid writing or marketing.
