Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant

About the role
This graduate position supports pupils with special educational needs in specialist schools across West London. You will work alongside experienced teachers, therapists and SEN professionals to gain practical classroom experience.
Key responsibilities
- Assist teachers in delivering lessons for children with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, SEMH, communication needs and learning disabilities.
- Provide one‑to‑one or small‑group support to reinforce learning objectives.
- Help prepare and organise learning materials and resources.
- Monitor student progress and report observations to the teaching team.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to individual education plans.
Required profile
- Recent graduate in Psychology or related field.
- Strong empathy, resilience and professionalism.
- Genuine interest in child development and SEND.
- Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
Required skills
- No specific technical skills required; willingness to learn and adapt.
