Graduate Systems Engineer

About the role

BAE Systems is hiring a Graduate Systems Engineer for its Air team in Brough (Hull). The role offers a hybrid working model with 3‑5 days on site, a salary of £34,000 per year plus a £2,000 welcome bonus, and the chance to work on cutting‑edge aircraft such as Typhoon, F‑35 and Future Combat Air System.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and trace system requirements.
• Develop system specifications and perform research, design and development activities.
• Model, integrate and test complex aerospace systems.
• Support qualification, certification and acceptance processes.
• Provide product support throughout the system life‑cycle.

Required profile

• Recent graduate in engineering or a related discipline.
• Willingness to travel within the UK and internationally.
• Interest in schedule, cost, stakeholder management and through‑life support.
• Commitment to safety, environmental and security considerations.
