Group Financial Controller – Maternity Cover

About the role

This is a 14‑15 month maternity cover position for a Group Financial Controller. You will lead the Group Finance function, ensuring the integrity, transparency and robustness of financial reporting, operations and controls across all jurisdictions.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee external and shareholder reporting, technical accounting and audit management.
• Develop and maintain group‑wide accounting policies in line with IFRS and local statutory requirements.
• Partner with the Group Director of Finance, Regional Managing Directors, the Executive Committee and the Audit Committee to provide high‑quality financial insight for strategic decision‑making.
• Manage revenue invoicing and debt management to protect shareholder value.
• Drive finance transformation by enhancing systems, processes and controls to support scale and future growth.

Required profile

• Significant experience in senior finance leadership roles.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local statutory reporting requirements.
• Proven track record of managing external reporting, audit processes and accounting policy development.
• Ability to work across multiple jurisdictions and collaborate with senior executives.
