Group Sales Manager

About the role

Our client, a globally recognised brand in migration, removals and storage, is seeking a Group Sales Manager to lead and develop their sales teams in Manchester. You will be responsible for driving sales performance, managing margins, and ensuring excellent customer service across the group.

Key responsibilities

• Take full responsibility for group sales contribution and daily performance monitoring using DRR.
• Conduct monthly reviews of Sales and Customer Service teams to meet conversion targets.
• Manage margins on each job and develop local accounts.
• Oversee the Customer Service team’s daily task list and ensure KPI achievement.
• Lead recruitment, training, and performance management for all sales centre staff.
• Prepare weekly trading reports and monthly forecasts for the group.
• Investigate claims and complaints, maintain health & safety compliance, and uphold ISO/BAR standards.
• Ensure timely collection of payments in line with contract conditions.

Required profile

• Proven experience in the removals or related logistics industry.
• Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing motivated sales teams.
• Ability to analyse sales data and drive performance improvements.
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities.
