About the role
We are looking for an experienced Head of Compliance to lead Edenred PayTech’s compliance function across its e‑money and payment services. The role combines strategic oversight with hands‑on implementation to ensure the business meets all regulatory obligations while supporting commercial growth.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor regulatory developments (e.g., FCA, PSD2, Consumer Duty) and update internal policies proactively.
- Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive compliance policies and procedures for e‑money operations.
- Lead the compliance team in risk assessments, monitoring, remediation and reporting.
- Provide regular compliance reporting and strategic advice to senior leadership and the Board.
- Collaborate with Legal, Risk, Finance and Operations to embed compliance into product development and daily activities.
- Act as primary liaison with regulators and auditors on licensing, capital and liquidity requirements.
- Oversee delivery of training programmes to educate staff on regulatory obligations.
Required profile
- Extensive compliance experience in financial services, preferably within electronic money institutions or payment services firms.
- Deep knowledge of e‑money regulatory frameworks such as PSD2, Consumer Duty, safeguarding rules and FCA expectations.
- Proven leadership and stakeholder‑management skills in fast‑paced environments.
- Strong analytical, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
- Ability to interpret complex regulatory changes and apply them pragmatically.
- Balance commercial growth objectives with strict regulatory compliance.
- Desirable: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Legal studies or related field; Master’s degree or professional compliance certification; knowledge of payments‑industry technologies and emerging regulatory trends.
