Head of Consumer & Market Insight – Interim

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Head of Consumer & Market Insight to join a leading global FMCG brand on an interim basis. Based in White City, London, you will work in a hybrid model (three days in the office) to shape consumer strategy across high‑profile beauty categories.

Key responsibilities

• Define and lead the consumer intelligence strategy for key beauty categories across the UK & Ireland.
• Provide deep consumer, shopper and market insights to support business growth and innovation.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activity and evolving consumer behaviours.
• Translate complex data into clear commercial recommendations for senior stakeholders.
• Identify growth opportunities and support new product launches and category development.
• Ensure insights are turned into measurable business actions.

Required profile

• Significant experience in consumer or market insight roles within a fast‑moving FMCG environment.
• Proven ability to influence senior leadership through evidence‑based storytelling.
• Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
• Experience delivering complex projects on tight timelines.
