Head of Europe – Pharmaceutical Business Leader

About the role

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic professional to lead our pharmaceutical business across Europe. The Head of Europe will drive sustainable growth, develop strategic partnerships, and strengthen our market presence throughout the region.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a European business strategy aligned with global objectives.
• Identify new market opportunities, expansion plans, and strategic alliances.
• Lead regional operations focusing on profitability, efficiency, and growth.
• Drive business development, negotiate commercial agreements, and maintain relationships with distributors and key stakeholders.
• Oversee strategic sourcing, supplier contracts, and supply‑chain performance.
• Design and implement regional marketing and sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
• Lead product launch and commercialization activities for new pharmaceuticals.
• Manage participation in government and institutional tenders, ensuring compliance and maximizing success rates.
• Build and mentor high‑performing cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy, life sciences, business administration or a related field.
• MBA or equivalent management qualification preferred.
• Minimum 20 + years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven track record in strategic sourcing, business development, marketing, sales, supply‑chain management, product commercialization, and tender management.
