Head of Merchandising

About the role

We are seeking a Head of Merchandising to lead the merchandising function of a fast‑growing British brand with a strong global presence. Based in London and working in a hybrid 3‑days‑on‑site model, you will shape the next phase of growth by bringing rigour, visibility and control to stock, forecasting and availability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the merchandising team through continued global expansion, ensuring stock and trading decisions align with commercial objectives.
• Develop and improve forecasting processes to increase accuracy and provide clear visibility of demand and inventory requirements.
• Own demand‑planning activities, enabling the business to respond swiftly to fast‑moving customer demand across markets.
• Manage and evolve the WSSI (Weekly Stock and Sales Interface) process as a core tool for improving stock flow.
• Build structure and best‑practice frameworks where formal range planning is currently absent.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in merchandising or a related commercial function within a high‑growth, entrepreneurial environment.
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to balance short‑term trade demands and long‑term capability development.
• Comfortable establishing processes, improving visibility and driving change in a fast‑moving setting.
