Head of Outbound Operations

About the role

We are seeking a highly strategic, data‑driven Head of Outbound Operations to own our downstream supply chain and multi‑site fulfilment strategy. The role starts when inventory is ready for fulfilment and ensures products reach customers and commercial partners efficiently, accurately, and with exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and performance‑manage multiple 3PL partners, ensuring alignment, service levels and accountability across sites.
• Lead warehouse launch, transition and improvement projects, delivering on timelines, system requirements and service expectations.
• Monitor 3PL performance against KPIs such as fulfilment accuracy, inventory control, dispatch performance and customer experience.
• Forecast demand, plan labour and ensure operational readiness for peak periods.
• Review and optimise outbound workflows to reduce costs, improve speed and enhance efficiency.
• Drive reverse‑logistics improvements to maximise returned stock availability and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with technology teams and external providers to optimise warehouse systems, order management and automation.
• Manage carrier relationships, negotiate contracts and optimise final‑mile delivery costs.

Required profile

• Strategic and data‑driven mindset.
• Proven leadership experience in supply‑chain or logistics operations.
• Experience managing third‑party logistics partners and multi‑site fulfilment models.
• Strong analytical skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
