Head of Product & Proposition

About the role

As Head of Product & Proposition you will shape Wesleyan’s financial product portfolio, ensuring it meets evolving market and regulatory demands while delivering excellent outcomes for our professional members.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the Advice Transformation programme’s product and proposition strategy, defining future‑facing product governance.
• Develop and enhance the Direct‑to‑Consumer (D2C) digital proposition and overall digital experience.
• Oversee day‑to‑day product activity as a member of the Product Governance and Customer Committees, ensuring Consumer Duty compliance.
• Collaborate with the With‑Profits function, actuaries and committees to maintain high‑quality with‑profits products.
• Partner with the Investment Strategy team to create robust fund and investment propositions.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in product development within financial services or insurance.
• Strong understanding of regulatory trends, consumer duty and product governance.
• Ability to translate customer insights into innovative, digital‑first product solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills at Board and Executive level.

What we offer

• Competitive salary of £100,000‑£120,000, dependent on experience.
• Permanent contract, 35‑hour week with hybrid working (2 days onsite).
