Head of Stores

About the role

The Head of Stores will lead a multi‑site retail operation for a fast‑growing portfolio of premium consumer brands. Reporting to the Managing Director, you will be responsible for driving sales, profitability and operational excellence across several locations while shaping the customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop senior managers and large store teams across multiple sites.
• Drive sales growth, profitability and cost performance.
• Ensure high standards of customer service and stock availability.
• Manage labour productivity, scheduling and operational budgets.
• Collaborate with finance, HR and other stakeholders to meet business objectives.
• Identify continuous‑improvement opportunities and support future expansion.

Required profile

• Significant experience managing multi‑site retail operations.
• Proven track record of leading large teams in complex environments.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen.
• Ability to influence, challenge and inspire at all levels.
• Resilient, credible and hands‑on leadership style.
• Experience in food, non‑food or mixed‑format retail is advantageous.
