Health and Safety Advisor – International Law Firm

About the role

This position offers the chance to join a leading international law firm as a Health and Safety Advisor. You will work within an Internal Client Services team, supporting a positive safety culture across UK and overseas offices while collaborating closely with Facilities, HR and other key stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day health and safety advice to employees, managers and contractors.
• Develop, review and improve health and safety policies, procedures and systems.
• Ensure compliance with UK legislation and internal standards.
• Carry out inspections, audits and risk assessments, and track corrective actions to completion.
• Assist with incident and near‑miss investigations and produce trend reports.
• Support training, inductions and awareness initiatives.
• Work with Facilities and Office Managers to maintain consistent processes across sites.
• Monitor contractor activities and support ISO 45001 compliance.

Required profile

• NEBOSH General Certificate (or equivalent) – essential.
• Experience in a health and safety advisory role, preferably in a professional services or multi‑site environment.
• Good knowledge of UK health and safety legislation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
• Well‑organised, able to manage multiple priorities and proactive in problem solving.
