About the role

Join the Darlington Growing Healthy 0-19 service as a dynamic and experienced Health Visitor. In this dual-impact role, you will not only provide essential care to families but also act as a key mentor and leader, shaping the next generation of healthcare professionals within the NHS.

Main Missions

• Deliver the Healthy Child Programme to families in Darlington, ensuring high-quality outcomes for children and parents.
• Implement and uphold the 'Best Start in Life' principles through proactive community engagement.
• Lead, mentor, and support a multi-skilled clinical team to ensure service excellence.
• Provide clinical supervision and training to student Health Visitors and future practitioners.
• Conduct Healthy Child contacts and represent the service at various community health promotion events.
• Collaborate with local stakeholders and partners to ensure a holistic approach to child health.
