HGV Bulk Delivery Driver

About the role

We are seeking an experienced HGV driver for a permanent, days‑based position delivering bulk loads to customer sites across the South West. The role offers a varied schedule, with a mix of local and longer‑distance routes, and involves navigating rural lanes and challenging‑access locations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver bulk loads throughout the region using rigid and articulated vehicles.
• Complete 1‑5 drops per day, with routes changing daily and no fixed schedule.
• Start early (around 5:30 am) on a four‑day week, typically working around 11 hours per day.
• Handle deliveries to rural sites with limited access, sometimes requiring night trips with additional allowance.
• Maintain safe manoeuvring of larger vehicles on country lanes and at difficult sites.
• Receive full training and ongoing support.

Required profile

• Valid Class 2 HGV licence (Class 1 preferred).
• Experience with bulk, tipper, tanker, construction or agricultural deliveries is advantageous.
• Comfortable with self‑delivery and manoeuvring larger vehicles at challenging sites.

What we offer

• Salary between £45,000 and £50,000 per year, plus overtime at 1.5× after 44 hours.
