About the role
We are partnering with a vibrant primary school in Waltham Forest, London to recruit a dedicated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). The role starts in September 2026 and offers a pathway to teacher training in September 2027.
Key responsibilities
- Collaborate with teachers to plan and deliver lessons for EYFS, KS1 and KS2.
- Cover lessons during PPA and release time, supporting classroom learning.
- Work with individual pupils and small groups to personalise learning experiences.
- Contribute to the delivery of a creative, bespoke curriculum.
Required profile
- HLTA qualification or a relevant education degree.
- Experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant or Teaching Assistant.
- At least one year of experience in a primary school setting.

- Full‑time permanent contract with a salary of £28,000‑£37,000 per year.
