About the role
The Housekeeper ensures the overall cleanliness and appearance of Greystar’s residential community in Coventry. This includes maintaining external litter‑free areas, internal communal spaces, reception, office areas and other amenities to provide a positive resident experience.
Key responsibilities
- Work as part of a friendly team to keep all resident areas clean and presentable.
- Respond promptly to resident queries and direct them to the appropriate person when needed.
- Clean reception, offices, common spaces and restrooms on a daily basis.
- Perform daily litter picks in all external community areas.
- Refresh empty rooms, apartments and show flats throughout the day to keep them market‑ready.
- Conduct weekly deep‑clean flush‑downs of empty rooms and apartments in line with health‑and‑safety policies.
- Assist the Community Manager with make‑ready tasks and other duties as required.
- Report any hazards or dangerous situations to the Community Manager.
- Log maintenance issues with the Customer Service team.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and request re‑orders when necessary.
Required profile
- Ability to read and write English to a level that ensures full understanding of safety labels, COSHH policy and procedure manuals.
- Knowledge of UK health and safety regulations relevant to cleaning operations.
- Strong customer‑service orientation with the ability to address resident concerns promptly.
