Housing Complaints Officer

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Housing Complaints Officer to join a fast‑paced, regulated environment in Birmingham. You will own the end‑to‑end complaint management process, handling sensitive and complex cases with empathy and professionalism.
Key responsibilities
- Investigate and resolve escalated housing complaints from start to finish.
- Maintain clear, timely communication with customers throughout the process.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather information and identify root causes.
- Produce high‑quality outcome letters that detail findings and actions taken.
- Manage a caseload of 15‑20 complaints at varying stages of complexity.
Required profile
- Proven experience in complaint handling within a regulated environment.
- Ability to manage changing priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Confidence liaising directly with customers and internal teams.
