About the role
We are seeking an HR Analytics Officer to join the HR team at Bristol City Council. In this fixed‑term role you will turn workforce data into actionable insight, supporting evidence‑based decision‑making across the organisation.
Key responsibilities
- Analyse complex workforce data and produce clear, accurate insights.
- Develop and maintain regular and ad‑hoc reports for internal stakeholders.
- Support the design of systems and methods for collecting and analysing workforce data.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand their needs and tailor analyses accordingly.
- Present findings in written and verbal formats that are easy to understand.
- Stay up‑to‑date with developments in HR analytics and contribute to continuous improvement.
Required profile
- Strong analytical ability with experience interpreting data requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
- Ability to work in a structured way and turn complex information into clear recommendations.
Required skills
- Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases or business intelligence tools.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
