HR Business Partner

About the role

We are seeking a resilient HR Business Partner to support our fast‑growing business in Birmingham. Reporting to the HR Director, you will work closely with senior leaders across the UK to shape people strategies that drive performance and manage change.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with senior managers to develop and implement people strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Guide teams through employee lifecycle events, including restructures, reorganisations, TUPE transfers and other structural changes.
• Provide coaching and development support to leaders, enhancing management capability and team morale.
• Deliver data‑driven insights and cost‑benefit analyses to inform decision‑making.
• Handle complex employee relations matters, including representation at Employment Tribunals.
• Design and deliver training on talent identification, career development and leadership pipelines.

Required profile

• Significant experience in a large, multi‑site organisation where change is constant.
• Proven track record as an HR lead driving organisational change and managing complex employee relations up to tribunal level.
• Strong analytical mindset with a data‑driven approach to HR decision‑making.
• Experience in project management and operational environments such as retail, hospitality, distribution or care.
