HR Systems Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented HR Systems Administrator to join a leading not‑for‑profit education organisation in Birmingham. The role is hybrid, offering a blend of on‑site and remote work, and provides a pathway from a temporary assignment to a permanent position.

Key responsibilities

• Address technical issues in coordination with IT teams or external providers.
• Administer and maintain the organisation’s HR Information System (HRIS), preferably the Every platform.
• Manage user accounts, access levels, and permissions.
• Provide first‑line support to HR users, investigating and resolving system incidents promptly.
• Ensure HR data is accurate, secure, and compliant with relevant legislation.
• Support data‑cleansing initiatives and produce validated HR reports.
• Assist the HR Systems Lead with system enhancements, testing, upgrades, and project delivery.

Required profile

• Experience supporting HR systems, ideally within an education or multi‑academy trust environment.
• Familiarity with pay review processes and TUPE‑related data activities.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on data quality.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and a collaborative, customer‑focused attitude.
• Effective communication with both technical and non‑technical colleagues.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
