Human Resources Business Partner

About the role

We are partnering with a fast‑growing, high‑performing business in Central London that is expanding its people function. The newly created Human Resources Business Partner will work closely with leaders and teams in a sales‑driven environment, balancing employee relations, engagement, operational delivery and project work.

Key responsibilities

• Provide day‑to‑day guidance to managers on employee relations matters, including performance management, absence, disciplinaries, grievances and investigations, ensuring fair and legally compliant outcomes.
• Build strong, credible relationships with stakeholders, act as a trusted advisor, identify people trends and support organisational change, growth initiatives and team development.
• Own end‑to‑end employee life‑cycle processes such as onboarding, probation, internal moves and exits, maintain accurate records and manage HR systems and data quality.
• Support payroll inputs, benefits administration and operational HR queries while keeping policies, contracts and documentation up to date.
• Ensure compliance with UK and US employment legislation, manage right‑to‑work checks, policy acknowledgements and mandatory training tracking, and assist with audits.

Required profile

• 4–6 years of experience in a generalist HR role (HRBP, HR Advisor or similar).
• Strong employee‑relations experience with confidence handling complex cases.
• Proven experience supporting both UK and US employment frameworks.
• Comfortable working in a high‑performance, sales‑driven environment.
• Background in professional services, recruitment or a start‑up is a plus.
