Hygiene Service Technician

About the role

We are looking for a Specialist Hygiene Technician to join our Coatbridge team. No prior experience is required as we provide full industry‑leading training, and you will manage your own schedule while delivering a variety of hygiene cleaning services to our customers.

Key responsibilities

• Provide reactive hygiene cleaning services including bio‑hazard, flood water damage, infection control, police and prison cell cleaning, sharps removal, trauma and crime‑scene cleaning.
• Carry out technical cleaning tasks such as factory cleans, high‑level work and silo cleaning.
• Work on an on‑call rota, typically twice a quarter, and adapt to changing weekly priorities.
• Offer advice to customers and maintain a professional image at all times.

Required profile

• Full UK driving licence held for at least two years with no more than six penalty points.
• Self‑motivated, reliable and proactive with excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Flexibility to work varied patterns and ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Willingness to undergo a DBS check where required.

• Valid UK driving licence.
