Independent Aftermarket (IAM) Technical Trainer

About the role

The Independent Aftermarket (IAM) Technical Trainer will design, deliver and maintain automotive technology training for Bosch and its partners, ensuring high technical standards and engaging learning experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with development, construction and maintenance of the training syllabus and individual course content, guaranteeing technical accuracy and attractiveness.
• Develop training solutions across multiple platforms, including virtual classroom, video and face‑to‑face delivery.
• Deliver automotive technology training courses at the Bosch Service Training Centre and regionally.
• Support the IAM Training Manager by preparing high‑quality training materials aligned with market needs.
• Guide distributors and selected partners to organise and deliver Bosch technical training programmes.
• Train internal and external trainers and participate in ongoing audits.
• Assist in planning the training calendar and administer the training programme efficiently.
• Contribute technical articles, bulletins and marketing content; represent the business at trade shows, seminars and other events.
• Maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers and provide timely technical information.

Required profile

• In‑depth knowledge of motor vehicle technology, service and repair techniques.
• Bosch Diagnostic Technician qualification or equivalent.
• Understanding of the Bosch Master Technician Programme or equivalent.
• Strong familiarity with Bosch information systems, repair concepts and proprietary technical standards.
• Proficiency with computer‑based programmes for creating and delivering course material.
• IT literacy and ability to work with virtual training platforms.
