About the role

Join a growing indirect tax team delivering high‑quality VAT advice to a diverse client base across the UK and internationally. As an Indirect Tax Manager you will own client relationships, mentor junior staff and contribute to the expansion of the practice.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain trusted relationships with clients, acting as the primary point of contact on VAT matters.
• Identify complex VAT issues and provide practical, commercially‑focused solutions.
• Collaborate with tax, accounting and advisory colleagues to deliver holistic services.
• Support business development initiatives and identify growth opportunities within existing accounts.
• Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a high‑performing environment.

Required profile

• CTA qualification or equivalent indirect‑tax experience.
• Strong VAT advisory background gained within a practice.
• Proven ability to deliver clear, practical advice to clients.
• Excellent client‑relationship and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines.
• Strong communication, interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
