Infrastructure Credit Associate – Alternative Investments

About the role

Join Santander Asset Management’s Alternative Investments team in London as an Infrastructure Credit Associate. You will work on the Targeted Enhanced‑Yield Infra Debt Fund, analysing and monitoring high‑yield infrastructure and energy private‑credit investments.

Key responsibilities

• Construct and analyse detailed financial models for investment opportunities.
• Prepare high‑quality investment materials and present proposals to the investment committee.
• Engage directly with investee companies throughout investment and monitoring phases.
• Support ESG initiatives and conduct ESG, financial and legal reviews.
• Manage data, analytics and reporting for effective portfolio oversight.
• Contribute to idea generation, investment screening and transaction structuring.
• Assist with portfolio monitoring, investor reporting and sponsor relationship management.

Required profile

• Associate‑level professional with strong analytical capabilities.
• Experience in credit analysis, infrastructure or private‑credit investments.
• Ability to work closely with senior management and contribute to disciplined risk management.
